What we can expect from BGT 2017 by Ant & Dec
Ant & Dec are no strangers to the madness of Britain’s Got Talent, with 2017 marking their eleventh year fronting the series. Surely, they've seen it all right?
WRONG! With the show set to kick off this Saturday, we caught up with the Geordie duo to find out just exactly what we can expect this time around...
1) More familiar faces
Yep, it seems a previous act REALLY catches David's eye, with Ant letting slip: "David's Golden Buzzer act this year is someone who had previously auditioned, and David had said at the time, ‘Go away and rehearse, as I don't think you're ready.’ We wonder who the mystery act is…
2) More dogs
Proving why you should never work with animals, Dec revealed: “We had a bring-your-dog-to-work day. That day someone was auditioning doing Doggy Yoga. So we all got our dogs up on stage and it didn't go quite to plan. My dog didn't want to be there. Ant's dog had a massive wee on stage. One of the yoga dogs wee'ed in David's shoe after he took them off! I think bring-your-dog-to-work day is now banned.”
3) More Ant & Dec… Yay!
It seems the Geordie duo will be more hands on than ever, with Ant revealing: “We've done loads. Been magician's assistants, have sung, eating chicken and chips on stage! We often say no though as so many people want us to go on stage with them. We only do it now and again.”
4) More Golden Buzzer shockers
Speaking of their chosen performer, Dec said: “We wanted something fun that captured our attention. We're so far from the buzzer compared to the Judges, so we need to make a pretty quick decision. We were waiting and waiting for someone who was funny and really needed that break. Our Golden Buzzer act is great!”
5) More LOL moments
It seems the comedians have upped their game this year, with a certain 8-year old funnyman called Ned REALLY tearing into the panel, with Ant stating: “Ned was really funny. He roasted everyone with both barrels.”
Now, that's something we can't wait to see! Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV this Saturday, 15th April, at 8pm!
