We get to know Simon's new fave BGT girlband The Miss Treats

The Miss Treats have revealed they are still in shock following Simon Cowell’s claims that they are one of the best girl band’s he's ever seen on BGT.

During last night’s all-new Britain’s Got Talent, fans saw Simon heap praise on Jeanette, Moesha, Bambi and Lavelle after their version of Salt-N-Peppa’s Whatta Man earned them four big yeses.

Speaking about their Audition, the girls were unanimous when asked which Judge they were most nervous about facing, with Simon’s name top of their list.

Jeanette explained: “When you see him on TV, he’s almost like non-human so when you see him in real life it’s like, ‘Breathe’. I was frozen… and then, when he likes you, THE Simon Cowell - who you’ve watched for your entire life! First of all he knows you exist, second of all he likes you.”

Moesha added: “We were so shocked that he said something like that. We took it as a massive compliment and it was like, 'This moment is so surreal'.”

Jeanette agreed: “It was literally a blur! It took us ages to process. It was only after a few days, we were like, ‘Woah, Simon Cowell said we were the best group that’s been on the show’.”

And, despite Jeanette appearing on The X Factor in 2013, it was the first time she’d performed for Simon, revealing: “I was a bit more nervous because even though he wasn’t on my year, I was like, ‘Maybe he’s seen me on TV, what if he doesn’t like me?’ I just wanted him to be honest.”

The girls went on to add that they decided to audition for BGT over other talent shows thanks to its family friendly vibe, with the girls joking: “We want to be the nation’s sweethearts!”

While they plot to take former X Factor Judge Cheryl’s title, the girls named the likes of TLC, Little Mix and the Spice Girls as their musical influences - and like the latter, they've got their own individual identities.

Speaking of how the got their name, Jeanette revealed The Miss Treats represents the different flavours and personalities in the group, saying: “I’m like candy floss and bubblegum, plus my favourite colour is pink. Moesha is like a Freddo because she’s cute and small”, with Bambi concluding: “Lavelle is more like the popping candy, she’s got fire to her - she’s not what you expect and I’m like a Ferrero Rocher.”

Move over Baby, Sporty, Ginger, Scary and Posh - we can’t wait to see what Candy Floss, Freddo, Popping Candy and Ferrero Rocher do next!

If you missed The Miss Treats Audition, make sure you catch up now on The ITV Hub. Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV Next Saturday, 6th May, at 8pm!
