Golden Buzzer update: The fab four
Simon finally pressed his Golden Buzzer on last night's show sending Bars and Melody straight to the semi-finals!
All four Judges have now selected their star performance - leaving just Ant and Dec to put one more act through. Here's a reminder of the talent they've so far tipped for the top.
Amanda was first to give an act a one-way ticket to the Live Shows when she was wowed by dancers Paddy and Nico.
“I’m so proud of you,” she told 79-year-old Paddy. “I just thought that was absolutely incredible. Well done.”
David’s Golden Buzzer caused a divide in the Judges' camp with the other three all buzzing before the end of Christian Spridon’s cover of Tom Jones’s Sex bomb.
Simon even pressed David’s buzzer for him.
David defended his choice saying, "Christian is going to win Britain’s Got Talent! It’s not just about the voice Simon, it’s about the personality as well.”
Last Saturday Alesha pushed her Golden Buzzer on Saturday for girl band REAformed.
“I was where you girls were once before,” she told the trio, “I know how much this means to you. I will support you every step of the way.”
Bars and Melody's interpretation of Twista and Faith Evans's Hopeful had the winning formula in Simon's eyes prompting him to give them a Golden ticket to the semis.
Speaking to the rapping duo he said: "I've heard some monstrous songs today and I was literally losing the will to live. But do you know what, I listened to every word.
"I think that record could be a hit, I really do."
