BGT - Show 5: Find out more about the acts

An unusual puppeteer, a former West End performer and a space invasion are just some of the acts waiting in the wings ahead of tonight's BGT (Saturday, May 7).

Anne Klinge

Anne is a 43-year old puppeteer and stage director. She lives in Nuremberg, Germany with her partner and her two children. Her foot puppetry started as a bit of joke in front of friends and family, but she has since been performing her puppetry around the world, including various German TV shows.

Clyde Parry

Clyde is a 44-year old singer from Southport, where he lives with his wife, who put him forward to audition for Britain’s Got Talent. Before becoming a full-time singer, Clyde worked a number of different jobs, including car repairs and plumbing supply deliveries.

The Deep Space Deviants

Paul (46), a record shop owner, lives with his wife and daughter in Chorley. A few years ago he created and started performing as his own version of Davros from Doctor Who, making a well-known villain fun.

Diederik Schmull

Diederik is a 72-year old retired stockbroker and pianist. Originally from Amsterdam, he has been living in the UK for over 30 years and lives in a retirement home with his cat Miaow Miaow. Although Diederik is 72, he still feels young at heart.

The Garnett Family

The Garnett Family from North Lincolnshire is a singing group formed of mum Helen (46), who is a choir teacher, and her daughters Rachel (20) and twins Anna and Abigail (17), who are all students. The sisters have been performing together for a few years, but this is the first time they’re performing together as a four piece.

The Mimic Men

The Mimic Men are an impressionist and comedy duo consisting of Cal Halbert (22) from Newcastle and Alfie Joey (48) from Gateshead, where he lives with his wife and two children. The pair met on the comedy circuit and decided to start performing together. Before getting into comedy, Alfie trained as a priest with Dec’s brother. Cal previously auditioned for BGT in 2011.

Mohamed Jalloh

Mohamed Jalloh is a 36-year old father of two, who works as a club promoter and café worker. He moved to the UK from Liberia in the early 2000s. Although Mohamed has never had any formal dance lessons, he’s been dancing from a very young age and loves 80s and 90s music.

Rachael Wooding

Rachael is a 37-year old former West End performer. Now a full-time mother to a baby girl, she lives in Hertfordshire with her husband. Rachael has had a successful career in the past, having performed on the stage in a number of productions including We Will Rock You and Evita, as well as small TV roles. After getting married a couple of years ago, she fell pregnant and has taken time out to be a mum to her young daughter. Having found that acting no longer fits with being a mum, Rachael has auditioned for BGT as she doesn't want to give up on singing.

Scott and Muriel

Scott Nelson is a 50-year old magician and illusionist, originally from California, who is married to his Dutch assistant Muriel. Scott got into magic at a very young age, but started perfecting his art in London in his early 20s in Covent Garden. Scott and Muriel live in the Netherlands and have been performing shows together all around the world, including Das Supertalent in Germany.

Tumar KR

Tumar KR are a robotic dance group from Kyrgystan, consisting of Omurzakov (25), Amazat (25), Salamat (25) and Baiaman (19). Tumar KR are full-time artists and have been a group for 5 years, mainly perform at corporate events and dance competitions. They’ve previously performed on Ukraine’s Got Talent and Czech & Slovakia’s Got Talent.

Vadik & The Bear

Vadik Raketa is a 35-year old full time entertainer from Belarus, who also runs his own children’s entertainment company. Vadik is married and has two young children. He is a trained ballet dancer and has been dancing for 20 years. He’s previously auditioned for various Got Talent shows around Europe, including Ukraine and Lithuania.

Boogie Storm

Along time ago in a galaxy, far, far away… six Stormtroopers, joined by their mutual love of pop music, travelled across the galaxy to make their mark and showcase their moves on the Britain’s Got Talent stage. Their routine to a medley of pop classics, received a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer from the Dark Lord of Music, Simon Cowell.
