A crossbow performer, a singing student and a pair of married ballerinas are just some of the acts due to hit the BGT stage tonight (Saturday, April 30)!

Ben Blaque

Ben Blaque is a 37-year-old crossbow performer from Springfield, Missouri. Ben originally became interested in magic and performing when he started working in a local theatre after he left school. Ben started his crossbow act several years ago and it has taken him all over the world. He is currently touring with The Illusionists stage show and has previously auditioned for America’s Got Talent.

Blue Bag Lady

The Blue Bag Lady (30) is a performer from Hertfordshire. She doesn’t speak but likes to express herself through other means.

James Hazell

James is a 22-year old bookmaker from County Durham. He lives with his grandad and also works for his granddad’s company. James thinks of himself as an all-round performer, but has never sung on stage before.

Jasmine Elcock

Jasmine Elcock is a 14-year old student and singer from Essex, where she lives with her parents and her big brother. Jasmine has been singing since she was 4-years old and belongs to a local youth theatre company. She has previously performed as the lead in the musical Annie at The Bloomsbury Theatre, as well as various charity performances. She was also lucky enough to take part in a special programme to mark the Centenary of First World War, which involved a group performance in Belgium organised by choirmaster Gareth Malone. Her biggest dream is to work in musical theatre when she is older.

Jeong Joon Park

Jeong Joon Park aka Joony is a 46-year old singer originally from Korea, who has been living in London for over 10 years. On the show he performs his own original song ‘Hello London’.

John Romero

John is a 57-year old musician and accordion player from Cheshire. He is married and has two children. John was inspired to take up the accordion by his granddad, who also played the accordion, when he was 9-years old. Classically trained and a prior winner of the British Accordion Championships, John turned professional as a musician in 1979. Since then he has appeared three times on UK television.

Richard Bayton

Richard Bayton is a 29-year old admin assistant from York. He sometimes teaches theatre to young kids and performs in amateur musicals. Richard auditioned in front of the judges two years ago and was buzzed by Simon, who also pressed Amanda’s buzzer when she wasn’t looking.

Sam and Hector

Sam (14) and Hector (12) are an acrobatic-gymnastics duo from Kent. They fell in love with acrobatics after seeing Spelbound on BGT and also watching the Olympics. Sam and Hector have now been performing and competing together for over two years and spend many hours a week training.

Shannon and Peter

Shannon (50) and Peter (46) Parker are dance teachers. They have been married for 15 years and live in Nottinghamshire with their son and daughter. Shannon moved to the UK from America when she was in her twenties and met Peter when she joined the Northern Ballet. The pair have previously appeared on Got To Dance where they made it to the finals.

Spartans Resurrection

Spartans Resurrection are a performance squad from Fife in Scotland. The group was formed by instructor Sheelagh, who has been running the group for around 20 years now. The group is made up of boys and girls aged 13-23 and they have performed together at various competitions and festivals.

Vertical Daze

Hazel (25) and Dave Roberts (51), aka Vertical Daze, are a father and daughter pole acrobatic duo from Swindon. They both work as team leaders in a supermarket and at a warehouse. They started doing pole fitness separately but have since started training together.

Vox Fortis

Vox Fortis is a vocal group made up of Rodney (37), Thomas (39), Elias (29), Julius (37) and Cameron (28). They have been a group since last year but they have all performed professionally as individuals, with key performances including the BBC Proms and West End Musicals. They call their style of music ‘classical-crossover’.

Ystrad Fawr Dancers

Ystrad Fawr Dancers are a Latin and ballroom dance troupe from Ystrad Fawr in South Wales. The group consists of 13 girls and 3 boys aged 14-17, most of whom have been dancing since the age of 5. As they don’t have enough boys in the group, some of the girls take on the role of the male lead. The group is led by ballroom dancer Carol and her husband Phil. The group have previously performed at The Royal Albert Hall for the Dance Proms.
