Comedy favourite Ted joins the cobbles
One of the best-loved and hardest working comic actors in Britain, Ted Robbins has starred on stage and screen for over 40 years. Starting out as a warm-up artist for live studio audiences he went on to play roles in Benidorm, Birds of a Feather and most notably as Peter Kay's nemesis, Den Perry, in Phoenix Nights. Now, in his first role since his brush with death in front of 15,000 people when he collapsed during a live show, Ted is stepping onto the Corrie cobbles tonight as Mary’s new love interest, Brendan.
