This is the story of one girl and her dream to shine on the catwalk. Kate was born with Down's syndrome, and her parents were told that she may never be able to read, write or even speak. But as her mum Deirdre can tell us, that has never stopped dreaming big. So big, that she has become the the first person with Down’s syndrome to win the crown in a global beauty pageant.

And Kate’s not stopping there, as she is on a mission to walk at London Fashion Week and forge a career for herself as a serious model - while spreading the message that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.
