Free our autistic son from 'prison' update
Yesterday we spoke to the parents of an autistic teenager who has spent the last six months "living like a prisoner", stuck inside a psychiatric unit.
Matthew Garnett, 15, has autism, learning difficulties and ADHD, as well as mental health issues that are yet to be properly assessed, and was sectioned under the mental health act in September.
Today we're joined by Labour's shadow minister for mental health Luciana Berger, who is backing the family's campaign for Matthew to be moved to a specialist autism facility. She's here alongside the family's local MP Helen Hayes who can update us with the latest on the campaign and her communication with Mr Burt.
