After Berlin, how safe are we this Christmas?

Last night a truck crashed into a bustling Christmas market in Breitscheidplatz in the West of Berlin killing nine and injuring over 50 people. Officials are investigating the crash as an act of terrorism. The attack has strong similarities with the Nice attacks in neighbouring France, and questions are being raised over whether lessons have been learnt and whether the German government could have done more to protect its people. But, as with all senseless acts of terror, our focus turns quickly to home and, as we begin to question just how safe any of us are this festive season, security experts Will Geddes and Dr Sally Leivesley join us with expert advice.
