A Mini marvel
When it first hit the roads in 1959, the Mini was dubbed the first 'classless' car that appealed to the masses.
It quickly became part of Sixties pop culture, associated with the likes of Twiggy and The Beatles. With this year marking its 55th anniversary, the car's popularity continues with it last week being voted Britain's best-ever car by a respected car magazine.
Today motoring expert and mini fan - and owner - Quentin Willson will be treating us to a look back through the history of the Mini and explaining what makes it such an iconic vehicle.
