Caroline's winning her battle with coeliac disease
I don’t want anyone to go through what I went through. I should have addressed this years ago… I think I’ve been living with it for about thirty years and it’s a horrid thing and I can’t imagine why I didn’t deal with it earlier.
It's a condition that affects one in 100 people in the UK, but over 75% of those living with coeliac disease remain undiagnosed.
Ahead of Coeliac Awareness Week next week, Dr Chris is here to explain what the symptoms and treatment of coeliac disease. We're also joined by actress Caroline Quentin, who has battled the condition for 30 years, to talk about why she is keen to raise awareness of this potentially crippling disease.
