Police seek man who fled from officers before court appearance

Police are looking for a man from Taunton who fled from officers before he was due to appear in court on Saturday.

David Woolridge, 21, had been remanded in custody in relation to drug offences. He was taken to Bath Royal United Hospital as a precaution but ran away from police as he left the A&E department.

Mr Woolridge was heading in the direction of Coombe Park at around 5:40am.

Police say he has links to the Somerset area and Plymouth.

He was last seen wearing a beige long sleeve top and skinny jeans, and has a tattoo on his left palm resembling a butterfly.
