Body found in South Devon

Police officers have been making enquiries following the discovery of a body in Paignton, Devon.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Church Street, Paignton, at 5.25am on March 3 following concerns for the welfare of a person in the street.

Emergency services attended but the person was declared dead at the scene.

Police are currently treating the death as unexplained and are awaiting the outcome of a forensic post-mortem.
