Police investigate after man's body found at Exeter Quay

The body of a man in his 60s has been pulled from the canal at Exeter after being spotted by a passer-by.

Police were called to Exeter Quay near the gas works just before 1pm today, Wednesday 28 December.

Officers say the body has not yet been identified and investigations are continuing. The area has been cordoned off.
