Man dies after collision with HGV on A38 in Devon

A man has died after a collision on the A38 in Devon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a collision between a male pedestrian and an HGV on the Northbound carriageway at South Brent around 11 o clock this morning.

The incident took place near to the Shell Carew garage. The A38 is currently closed at Ivybridge and diversions are in place with the police, fire service, ambulance crews and air ambulance on the scene.
