Penzance: body found in search for missing man

Officers in Penzance searching for missing man Stephen Carroll have confirmed a body has been found.

Police were called at around 10.15 this morning by a member of the public reporting that a man's body had been found in the woods near Polmennor Farm in Heamoor.

Formal identification has not yet been carried out but Stephen's family have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

55-year-old Stephen, from Penzance, was reported missing to police on Thursday 12 November.
