Horses rescued after falling into swimming pool

It has been reported that two horses have been rescued from a swimming pool in west Dorset.

The unlikely pair made a splash in the back garden swimming pool in Duntish near Sherborne.

Dorset Fire and Rescue service were called to the scene just before 9am this morning.

The animals were safely rescued after a vet from the animal rescue team sedated the pair, so the firefighters could safely remove them from the pool.

Both horses are reported to be “recovering well”.
