Pylons to be removed from West Country beauty spot

Pylons are to be removed from a west country beauty spot under plans by the National Grid to limit eyesores on the landscape.

Overhead power lines will be taken down in parts of the Tamar Valley between Ellbridge in Cornwall and Tamerton Foliot in Devon. It means residents and visitors could soon enjoy uninterrupted views along the river.
