Temporary travellers site could be created next to Weymouth park and ride

A temporary transit site for travellers and gypsies could be created next to the park and ride in Weymouth.

County councillors have agreed to investigate the idea to make it easier to move illegal camps from other places during the summer.

They're also looking at a site in Piddlehinton. Travellers have camped illegally on the site in Weymouth four times this year.
