Gromits help to raise £3.8m for sick children
Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal has raised £3.8m towards the expansion of Bristol Children's Hospital - exceeding its initial target by £300,000.
F4J banned from bidding for a Gromit
A supporter of Fathers 4 Justice has said that he has been banned from bidding for the 'Hero' Gromit at the forthcoming Gromit Unleashed auction.
The 62 year old man, who wished to remain anonymous, said the sculpture could be used for publicising the campaign group in the South West.
The Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal for the Bristol Children's Hospital has written to the man explaining the rules surrounding the bidding process.
They said there are restrictions on the use of purchased lots, and this includes some forms of campaigning.
