VIDEO: giant chimney swings in the wind
People living near a giant incinerator at St Dennis in Cornwall, looked on in horror last night as one of the newly built chimneys started swaying in the wind.
This video, taken by one of the residents, shows the hundred metre stack getting loose.
The company says that the swaying is not a cause for concern but it has attached some temporary bracing.
A permanent platform will be installed when the final sections are in place.

Protests against St Dennis incinerator
Protests will be held this morning against the building of a multi-million pound incinerator at St Dennis in Cornwall. Campaigners plan to picket and lobby councillors at the County Hall in Truro. The plans to build the incinerator have been controversial since they were first announced.
Opponents say 'it's not too late' to consider alternatives
Opponents of a giant waste incinerator in Cornwall say they've come up with alternatives which could save the county up to 320 million pounds. Cornwall Waste Forum says there are better ways of dealing with the county's household rubbish.
Opponents of St Dennis incinerator come up with new proposals
Opponents of a giant waste incinerator in Cornwall say they've come up with alternatives which could save the county up to 320 million pounds.
Opponents were refused permission to appeal against the St Dennis incinerator by the Supreme Court in July, and work began to build the site in August.
But Cornwall Waste Forum says there are better ways of dealing with the county's household rubbish. Proposals include separate collection of food waste and creating a network of collection centres around Cornwall.
Cornwall produces about 300,000 tonnes of waste a year and, according to the County Council, the region will run out of landfill space by 2014.
Although work has already begun on the infrastructure for the incinerator at St.Dennis, campaigners say alternatives should be considered. Ken Rickard is from the Cornwall Waste Forum:
