The north Cornwall village of Boscastle was changed forever after devastating floods on Monday 16th August 2004. One month's rain fell in a few hours - with catastrophic consequences.

Boscastle Buoys mark flood anniversary

Events have been held in the village of Boscastle in Cornwall marking 10 years since parts were swept away by floods.

The Boscastle Buoys performed on the Harbour earlier to mark the anniversary.

Homes and businesses were destroyed and 100 people had to be rescued as a month's rain fell in just two hours, with the images being shown around the world.

Boscastle floods ten years on

It's been ten years since parts of Boscastle in north Cornwall were virtually swept away by floods.

These images of water rushing through the village were beamed around the world in 2004.

Tonight ITV West Country will be live from Boscastle where we'll see how the people there have recovered.
