Devon NHS trust sues IT company over 'unacceptable' computer system
The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust is suing an IT company after complaining that its computer system is "unacceptably slow".
The trust bought the system in 2011 to manage electronic documents.
ATOS IT Services UK say there's nothing wrong with the system provided.
The trust agreed to pay around £4.9 million for a five-year contract with ATOS.
It was initially seeking damages totalling £7.9m but a preliminary ruling found that the trust could only seek the £4.9m cost of the initial contract.
The case is expected to go to trial at a later date.
