Victory for local teams at World Gig Championships
Thousands of rowers have been heading home from the biggest World Pilot Gig Championships in the competition's 27 year history.
There was victory for local side Falmouth - winning the men's final - while Saltash-based Caradon took the woman's World Championship trophy.
More than 150 boats took part, making it the biggest competition in its 27 year history.
Competitors flew in from all over the world with teams from Holland, USA and Bermuda.
