Move over Doc Martin, now it's the turn of Never Land, to keep Port Isaac firmly in the centre of the camera's lens.

Several famous actors have been in action in our region over the past few days, working for nothing, to make a crowd funded short film about flooding caused by global warming.

The film called Never Land stars actor and comedian Marcus Brigstocke and features Keeley Hawes, John Nettles, Brian Bovell and child actor Llewy Godfrey from Bath.

Brian Bovell who was in Love Actually and The Unforgotten confessed he had no idea what he was doing as he got tangled in a net with fellow fisherman John Nettles.

From London to Cornwall its all been a bit of a chilly landscape shock.

John Nettles, who lives just up the coast, has cast aside his Detective persona in Bergerac and Midsomer Murders for this.

The fledgling company making this film, chose the two counties of Somerset and Cornwall because of flooding on the Levels and Boscastle in 2004.

They're trying to get across a serious message with a little comedy along the way.

It's 13 year old, Llewy Godfrey from Bath's first film. He secretly admits he's rather enjoying being in the spotlight.

The threat of flooding is seen through the eyes of a nervous 10 year old boy called Noah, played by Llewy. The film follows the child who believes it won't be long until we're all under water.
