Dog rescued after being dumped on Christmas Eve
A dog dumped on Christmas Eve with a sodden coat so matted and overgrown that he couldn’t even see can finally enjoy some festive cheer after he was rescued by the RSPCA.
The rescued dog has been nicknamed Pudding by the RSPCA. He was found in Rendle Street, in Plymouth, tied up and left out in the cold and rain.
Pudding has now been taken to the RSPCA’s Little Valley Animal Centre, near Exeter, where he will recover.
He is thought to be a shih tzu cross type dog, aged approximately six or seven years old, although he isn't microchipped.
Anyone with information about who dumped Pudding is being asked to contact the RSPCA.
