Police appeal for witnesses after woman with learning disabilities robbed at cash-point

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman with learning disabilities was robbed at a cash-point. The incident took place on Saturday April 9 just after 8.15pm on Regent Street in Kingswood.

The victim was withdrawing cash from a Santander machine next to a taxi rank by Chasers nightclub when a man approached her and snatched £20 from her before running away.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his early 30s, of a slim build with a receding hairline. He was wearing a red sweat top with a money symbol on the front and a silver-backed gorilla wearing a crown on the back.
