The future of Nick Gargan could be decided

The Police Inspectorate is expected to give its verdict on the future of Avon and Somerset Chief Constable Nick Gargan this afternoon.

The Chief Constable was found guilty of eight counts of misconduct by an independent panel.

He remains suspended on full pay and has been asked to resign by the area's Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens.
