Taunton Station in line for four million pound upgrade

Rail passengers in Taunton today welcomed plans for a 4.6 million pound station upgrade. If the funding is found, then better facilities, parking and connections to the town centre will be built.

The Transport Secretary visited this afternoon to inspect the dated station which is a crucial hub for trains running to and from the South West. Our Somerset Correspondent David Woodland reports
