Police investigate series of deliberate car fires

An investigation's started into a series of car fires in Bristol which police believe were started deliberately.

Officers say they've been called to eight car fires in the Southmead are during April.

All of the vehicles were parked on their owners driveways when they were set alight.

I’m genuinely concerned that if whoever’s behind this carries on, someone’s going to get seriously hurt.

While it’s distressing enough for people to have their cars burnt out, the fact that some of them have been parked so close to their homes doesn’t bear thinking about.

It’s incredibly reckless and dangerous and we need the community to come forward and tell us who’s responsible.
