Car crashes into a house at Wookey Hole

Fire crews were called to rescue a woman trapped in a car after it crashed into a house. The incident on Wells Road in Wookey Hole, Somerset, was reported just after 3am this morning.

The woman was removed from the car using hydraulic rescue equipment and then taken to hospital by ambulance. There are no reports of any other injuries.
