Woman rescued by her dog

A woman believes she owes her life to her dog after she escaped from a fire in her bedroom. 72-year-old Rosemary Field was woken by her Jack Russell.

When she came round she realised a lamp had fallen onto her bed and set fire to her bedding. Avon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service says if the dog hadn't woken her up she could have died. Watch Tanya Mercer's report.
