Excitement is building in Cardiff ahead of Real Madrid and Juventus' Champions League final clash in the National Stadium of Wales.Cardiff is gearing up to play host to the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday, June 3.

170,000 fans are expected to travel to the Welsh capital for what will be the biggest single sporting event in the UK since the 2012 Olympics.

Cardiff residents told to expect loud bangs at midday

Welsh Army Reservists have issued a warning that they will fire a Royal Gun Salute at Alexandra Gardens at midday on Friday 2nd June to celebrate The Queen's coronation.

People are being warned to expect to hear loud bangs in the city centre.

Soldiers from C Troop 211 Battery, which forms part of 104 Regiment Royal Artillery, will fire the 21-gun salute.

They will be using blank ammunition from three 105mm light guns.
