Wales at the polls: Local elections 2017
On the 4th of May 2017 Wales heads to the polls to vote in the local council elections.
Merthyr Tydfil: 30 seats declared - no final results
There are three more seats on the council but they're all in a ward where the election has been postponed due to a candidate's death.
So Merthyr won't know for another month whether the independents or Labour will run the council.
The delayed vote will take place on June 8th, the same day as the General Election.
