Prince Charles has arrived in Aberfan to pay his respects, 50 years since the disaster which claimed the lives of 116 children and 28 adults.
He visited the Aberfan Memorial Garden on the site of the former Pantglas Junior School, before attending a reception with some of the families of those who lost their lives.
