A landlord from Anglesey has renamed his pub The Pokemon Arms - because gamers keep flooding to the bar to use its Wifi.

The Panton Arms in the village of Pentraeth enjoyed a surprise boom of new customers when the smartphone game Pokemon GO was launched earlier this summer.

Landlord Ed Griffiths realised it was because they were using the pub's Wifi - because no internet signal was available nearby.

So Ed got a new sign printed renaming the remote pub as The Pokemon Arms instead.

There's a Pokestop over the road and one of my mates is massively into Pokémon. We joked we could change the name of the pub into the Pokemon Arms so we had the sign printed. It's been a laugh, it's got a bit of interest.
