Cardiff event to make science more attractive

Cardiff city centre will hold an event aimed at encouraging more women into science this afternoon.

It is the first time that the capital has hosted the so-called 'SoapBox Science' initiative.

It is expected to hear from a number of Welsh female scientists, who are worried about the shortage of young girls taking up the subject after school.
