Pembrey Country Park has re-opened after a suspected explosive device washed up on a beach.

The coastguard says they are still working to establish what the device is and a bomb disposal unit from the Royal Navy is expected to assess it later this morning. The device is between 1ft and 1.5ft in length.

Dyfed Powys Police says access to Cefn Sidan Beach remains restricted as work continues to remove the device.
