Police appeal after body found in Cardiff river

Police are continuing to investigate after a body was found in the River Taff on the evening of Friday, May 6.

Officers are still trying to establish the identity of the man, who was found near the Swalec Stadium.

They're appealing for anybody who may have concerns for a relative or friend matching his description, who they may not heard from, to come forward.

The deceased man is described as white, with a shaved head and middle aged possibly in his 50’s. He was wearing a dark grey Adidas sleeved top that had the 3 red stripes running down the arm, Dark blue jeans.

A Post Mortem is due to be carried out.
