Appeal for witnesses after fatal crash near Neath
South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision yesterday evening near the village of Abergarwed.
It involved one car - a red Citroen C2 - and happened on the B4242 at around 6.45pm.
The man driving the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The road was closed while an air ambulance was sent to the scene and South Wales Police have thanked the community for their patience while it remained shut.
The force is now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle being driven at the time or before the collision.
