Man pleads not guilty to murder of beautician

A businessman has denied murdering a young beautician.

Property developer Peter Morgan, 53, is accused of the murder of 25-year-old Georgina Symonds.

Mother-of-one Georgina was found dead at a workshop at a farm near the rural town of Usk.

An inquest was previously told that the provisional cause of death was "ligature pressure" on a her neck.

Morgan, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court today to deny her murder in January.

The property developer, of Llanellen, near Abergavenny, spoke to say "not guilty" to the charge.

Judge Neil Bidder said his trial would take place in June and is expected to last three weeks. The Judge remanded Morgan in custody.
