Investigations after man and dog die in fire

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a fire which killed a man and a dog on Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to a house in the village of Rhostryfan near Caernarfon shortly after seven o'clock, after members of the public had forced entry into the building.

Two fire engines from Caernarfon attended, as well as North Wales Police and the Ambulance service.

Sadly the bodies of the man and the dog were found in a ground-floor bedroom.
