Appeal after men push their way into pensioner's home

Police are appealing for information after two men pushed their way into the home of an 81-year-old man during a distraction theft.

Gwent Police says the incident happened at an address on Garden Street, Llanbradach near Caerphilly on 11th April.

At around 11.10pm an 81 year old man answered his door to two men who asked if they could come in and when he said no they pushed their way past him.

Officers say one of the men ran into the kitchen and the other ran upstairs. They left a few minutes later and made off on foot. The pensioner was unharmed but left shaken.

The two men were described as being dressed in black and were wearing gloves. They were both around 5 feet 6/7 inches tall.
