Appeal after dog walker 'seriously' assaulted
Police are investigating after a man was assaulted in Bangor while out walking his dog.
North Wales Police says the assault on the 29-year-old man happened in the Glanrafon Hill area on Sunday 10th April 2016.
At about 12.30am the man was attacked by a man with whom he had just engaged in conversation. His injuries are serious but not life threatening.
The assailant is described as a white male in his early 40’s with dark hair and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a blue stripe down the leg and a white top.
Moments before the attack the victim was talking to a group of students on Glanrafon Hill who were playing with the man’s dog.
Police say they are likely to have witnessed the attack and would like to speak to them.
