Police appeal after fatal hit-and-run in Llwynypia

South Wales Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Llwynypia, Tonypandy last night.

Police are calling for the driver of the hatchback car, which failed to stop after colliding with a 49 year-old male pedestrian, to come forward. Members of the public with any information regarding the incident are also being asked to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 11.15 pm on Thursday 31st March on the A4058, outside The Ifor Hael Hotel. The next of kin have been informed.
