Women dies following road crash on mountain road
A 25-year-old woman has died after being taken to hospital following a crash on a mountain road in the Rhymney Valley in February.
Gwent Police says the passenger, Carla Jones, sadly passed away on Sunday 27th March.
The collision happened at approximately 10am on Tuesday 9th February near to the Mountain Ash Inn, Abertysswg, and involved a brown Citroen Picasso.
The driver, a 48-year old man from the Abertwssyg area was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and is now recovering.
The family of Carla Jones are being supported by family liaison officers
Anyone who may have seen the vehicle immediately before the collision or after is asked to call police on 101.
