Road reopens in Cardiff after pedestrian hit by vehicle

A busy road in Cardiff has reopened following a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at around 5pm on Monday.

A man was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, where police say he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

A road's closed in Cardiff after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.

South Wales Police says the B4267 Leckwith Road is closed after the incident close to its junction with Broad Street.

A force spokesman says the road will be closed between Ninian Park Road and Sloper Road for some time to allow accident investigation to take place and significant traffic congestion is expected.
