Police appeal after woman grabbed by unknown man

South Wales Police is investigating two incidents which happened yesterday afternoon in St Mellons, Cardiff.

At around 1.45pm a woman was jogging on a path, which runs parallel with Brython Drive, when she was grabbed by an unknown man.

The suspect is described as white, about 18 years old, well built and with dark brown hair. He was wearing light grey jogging bottom type shorts, a black T-shirt, black shoes, and a black hoodie.

The suspect matches a similar description to a suspicious man who approached a woman on a nearby section of the path earlier the same day. On this occasion the man walked off in the direction of Tesco.

Enquiries are continuing and extra patrols have been taking place.
