Police appeal after man, 83, killed in car crash
Officers are appealing for information after a car crash on the A469 yesterday.
The collision involved one vehicle - a blue Vauxhall Astra in Pontlottyn just before 1:30pm. The driver, Royston Carr aged 83, died at the scene
The family of Mr Carr, who was born in Merthyr Tydfil but resided in Abertysswg, released the following tribute:
“Roy was a genuine, caring, considerate, kind man who loved life and was proud of his heritage and proud to be Welsh. He will be missed but not forgotten.”
