Four injured following crash in Carmarthenshire

Four people have been taken to hospital, two with serious injuries, following a collision on the A477 bypass this morning.

The incident happened between St Clears and Llanteg just before 8 this morning.

Two vehicles, a silver Mitsubishi Colt and a white Vauxhall Vivero Van were involved. The two people in the Mitsubishi were airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, with the two others in the Vauxhall van taken by ambulance.

The road was closed in both directions but has since been reopened.
